PTI September 2015 Blog Hop Challenge

Hello there! I am so excited to be participating in Papertrey Ink's September Blog Hop today! Autumn is my favorite season so I fell in love with the inspiration photo Nichole chose for this month.

I love the chalkboard art along with the wreath of leaves decorating the frame! So pretty! 



I started out by die cutting the rounded rectangles and stamping my "chalkboard" with pumpkins, leaves, and the sentiment with white pigment ink. I wanted to add a pop of color so I colored a piece of white card stock in different shades of orange with an ink blending tool. I used it to die cut two leaf silhouettes. For an added touch of detail I wrapped a piece of twine around the top of the panel and tied a bow with a white button.

Ink: PTI Fresh Snow, PTI Summer Sunrise, PTI Orange Zest, PTI Terracotta Tile
Paper: PTI True Black, PTI Kraft, PTI Stamper's Select White

    What a lovely way to use the inspiration photo to make your own chalkboard, and incorporate those luscious fall leaves into the design. This is so pretty, and what a nice touch to add in the twine & button with those orange-toned leaves. TFS & Hugs
