Hi there! Today I am participating in this week's CASology challenge.

With the cue word being "wings" usually I would have chosen butterflies and that is the first thing that came to mind. Instead of just going ahead with butterflies I decided to look through my stamps. I found a dragonfly stamp I hadn't used yet and thought it would be perfect for this challenge.

I die cut the stitched frame and did my stamping on the inlaid rectangle. Then I adhered both pieces to the center of my card front. It was super simple and I love how it turned out!

Butterfly Birthday

Hello! For my third and last post today I made a card for this week's MFT Sketch Challenge.  This is my first time participating in this particular challenge and I had so much fun!

I die cut all my pieces and adhered all the layers together. Then I cut a strip of white card stock, stamped the sentiment, and adhered it to the aqua card stock and then adhered the aqua card stock to my card front.

Blue Anchors Away

Hi there! The second card I made yesterday is for this week's CASology challenge. 

I had PTI's Ahoy stamp set out so I decided to use the anchor as my repeat image for this card. I chose three different blue ink colors and varied the placement of the anchors going down the right side of the card. I finished by stamping the sentiment on the left side about halfway down the card.

Ahoy! It's your birthday!

Hi friends! Yesterday, for the first time in over a month, I was able to get together with my sister-in-law and niece for a crafty day! I made a few cards including this card for my nephew whose birthday is next month. I also made this card for this week's challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.

I started out by choosing which stamp set and ink colors I wanted to use. I decided on a nautical theme and die cut one square out of polka dot paper and one out of white card stock. I stamped a boat on the white square and adhered both squares to a stitched die cut panel. I then stamped the waves and sentiment onto the panel and adhered it to a white card front. For a finishing touch I added the ahoy tag. I love how it turned out and I can't wait to give it to my nephew!
