I was excited to see this was this week's challenge. I love adding stamped backgrounds to my cards and other paper crafts. I got my inspiration from PTI's Simple Sunflower Mini Stamp Set and decided to go with a brown background. To make my diamond wallpaper I used the middle stamp from PTI's Background Basics: Tin Types Stamp Set.
I die cut the larger sunflower and three larger leaves and then stamped them. To give the flower a natural look I first used yellow ink and on top of the yellow around the center I added ink in Summer Sunrise by PTI. I then stamped my sentiment on a piece of white card stock and placed it under the flower. I enjoyed this week's MIM and I love how my card turned out.
