CCCB - The keys to the time

Wednesday, March 11, 2015

This week at the City Crafter Challenger Blog the challenge is The Keys to the Time and I chose the time aspect by using a clock on my card.

My husband and I moved on New Year's Eve and for the past two and a half months my husband has been working very hard to get our new house just the way we want it. He installed garage door openers, a garbage disposal, cabinets in the laundry room, and he built my new craft desk. He has been spending his weekends working hard after working full-time all week so I made this card for him. He truly is making our new house a home and he loves cuckoo clocks so it's perfect for him.

I dry embossed the background, die cut the clock, birds, and frame for my sentiment. I stamped everything and then adhered it all to the card front.

My Supplies:
Stamps: PTI Tick Tock
Dies: PTI Tick Tock, PTI Keep It Simple Frames
Ink: PTI Pure Poppy, PTI Tropical Teal, PTI True Black
Paper: Recollections white, PTI Stamper's Select White

  4. Jenelle it's gorgeous. It;s wonderful to have a husband who puts a lot of work and love into making your house a home. This card is a gem; My parents had a cuckoo clock too; I have wonderful memories about it. (Always fun when the bird came out of his house!) I also love the clear and crisp design. Thanks so much for joining us at CCCB!
