Hi there! One of my good friends is having a birthday tomorrow so I used this week's Freshly Made Sketches sketch to create a card for her.

I loved making this card! I started out by trimming a piece of white card stock and stamped the cake and Happy Birthday sentiment onto it. I die cut the strawberries and stamped those. Next I trimmed a piece of red card stock and red and white striped card stock to layer behind the white piece. To finish I die cut a small banner and stamped the rest of the sentiment onto it.

Tag You're It! Guest Designer

Hi there! Today I am thrilled to be the guest designer for the Tag You're It! Challenge. Nancy has designed a beautiful tag for today's challenge!

For my tag I took inspiration from the umbrella, flowers, and birthday sentiment.

I started out by die cutting the tag, umbrella, and bouquets. I did a little bit of ink blending on the tag (unfortunately it's hard to tell from the picture) and stamped the bouquets. I stamped the sentiment, adhered everything to the front of the tag, and added a few silver sequins.

Easter Blessings

Hi there! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday! Today I made an Easter tag for this week's Tag You're It! Challenge.

I really enjoyed making this card with the new Color Pop Florals set from PTI. 

I began by stenciling some flowers and leaves onto the tag with an ink blender. I stenciled some more flowers and leaves on a piece of white card stock and die cut them. I arranged the die cuts on the tag and popped them with foam tape. To finish I added the sentiment and tied a piece of pink ribbon to the top.

A Note of Thanks

Hi everyone! It's been awhile since my last blog post and I am excited to be getting back into the swing of things after some unforeseen events. Today I have a card for PTI's Make It Monday Ombre Stenciled Backgrounds using the colors from this week's ColourQ along with this week's Freshly Made Sketches sketch.

This technique was really fun! I blended a few PTI inks on a piece of white cardstock and then used one of the new PTI stencils to blend more ink on top. I die cut a flower and some leaves from the new anniversary set and stamped them. I stamped the sentiment on a small piece of white cardstock and then adhered everything to the card front.
