Merry Monday #133 {Rustic Christmas!}

Monday, November 3, 2014

Hi there! Today I am participating in this week's Merry Monday challenge: Rustic Christmas.

I started out with a cream card base and picked a few other colors of card stock and went from there. I cut the card stock down to varying sizes and layered them. I recently bought a wood grain embossing folder at Hobby Lobby so I used it to dry emboss the chocolate brown paper. I die cut a frame and a snowflake. On the frame I stamped my sentiment. I thought it went perfectly with the theme of being in the mountains in a cabin. I imagined being cuddled up in front of a warm fire watching the snow falling outside. On the snowflake I used chestnut embossing powder. Thank you for visiting my blog! Have a great day!

My Supplies:
Stamps: Hampton art snowflake and Christmas frame stamp/die sets
Dies: Hampton art snowflake and Christmas frame stamp/die sets
Paper: PTI Kraft, Fine Linen,  & Dark Chocolate, Recollections cream card stock
Ink: Memento Dew Drops Rich Cocoa

  3. Wow! I've been scrolling through some of your past creations and you just have such a way with CAS cards! You have so much talent! As a girl who can't get away from a card unless it has twelve million layers (at least), I'd just like to say kudos! Thanks for the follow!
